About Appetite for Change

I acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which I live, work, learn, create, and rest, the Wurundjeri Woiwurrung People of the Kulin Nation, and I pay my deepest respects to Elders past and present. I recognise the journeys of First Nations people; the contributions their voices, practices, and wisdom make within healthcare, research, and learning; and their ongoing connection to and care for land, water, flora, fauna, culture, and community.

I acknowledge that this land was stolen, and that sovereignty has never been ceded. We cannot have equality for everyone, until we recognise and redress the harms of colonisation. This means full sovereignty for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, the return of all stolen land, and abolishment of the capitalistic, Eurocentric, racist, oppressive, pathologising, colonial structures and systems that society is currently grounded in.

This Country always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.

A portion of our profits go to Pay The Rent, with more information available at www.paytherent.net.au.
