Abstract submission

Keen to submit an abstract for the 2027 Appetite for Change Conference? You’ve come to the right place, and we’re excited that you’re here!

We welcome submissions from people of all identities, abilities, bodies, and backgrounds, including (but not limited to) first-time presenters, those outside of academia or clinical roles / systems, and those whose experiences have been (historically and/or ongoing) excluded or devalued. We especially encourage proposals from neurodivergent, queer, trans and gender diverse, culturally and racially marginalised, chronically ill, and disabled people, people of all body shapes and sizes, and people with lived and/or living experience.

Please note, we likely won’t be able to accept all abstracts that are submitted, but are deeply appreciative of submissions regardless.

Abstract submissions are currently open, and can be submitted via the form below. Abstracts submissions will close at 9am AEDT November 16th 2026 (click here for time zone conversion), after which all abstracts will be reviewed (by humans, not by AI). We’ll then get back to you regarding the abstract of your outcome regardless, and aim to do so within several weeks of abstracts closing. Thank you!
